Chronic Pain

Chronic pain is pain that lasts longer than the usual recovery period or occurs with a chronic health condition, such as arthritis. It can be continuous or “on and off”, and can range from mild to severe. Chronic pain is different from acute pain, which develops quickly and doesn’t usually last long.

Cancer-Related Pain

Cancer pain is discomfort that can caused by cancer itself, cancer treatments, or a combination of both. Cancer pain can be moderate or severe, and it can limit a person’s ability to perform daily activities.

Neuropathy

(Nerve Pain)

Neuropathic pain occurs by damaged nerve fibers. You may feel pain from any of the various levels of your nervous system, including your peripheral nerves, spinal cord or brain. About 30% of neuropathy cases occur due to diabetes, but hundreds of other diseases can cause it too.
